    You are travelling along the Morgul Road, the ancient highway which
connects Mordor to the rest of Gondor.  It lies in the Imlad Morgul, a 
long valley which runs along the breadth of the Mountains of Shadow.  To 
the north, alongside the road, run the pale waters of the Morgulduin, its 
slowly-churning waters flowing out of Mordor.  The road, created a 
millennia ago by the men of Gondor, has fallen into disrepair and is in 
quite poor condition; not to mention the noxious odors that come from the 
river which make you feel rather nauseated.  It will probably be a tough 
journey ahead.
The sky is clear yet still dark as night.
    The only obvious exits are southwest and northeast.
