everyone runs for the well it seems. sheesh
Having said that, Lotraz killed me once in there too so everyone makes mistakes! :D
I pounced out the dark and whacked you at Isenmouthe Tireless, you died running hell for leather for the well. You then got Sean to hunt me :(.
It was an emotional moment for both of us.
It's more dangerous to get attacked at mordor gates than inside mordor, what with there being like 15 huntbreaks within a 50 room grid radius, a couple being untriggerable/double breaks and what not.
I just run freebies all day and don't actually quest
And Celoril only did michel delvin lowbie quests and auctioned the shiled/dagger for a high price to trick newbies.
Bree guards are known for their dangers.
Quiauh did stuff other than Bree guards. He robbed MT too.
ask that to Anguss, Quintin and Quiauh, whom levelled chars up to lvl 22 by killing bree guards only
I don't see the point in becoming lv19 if your not gonna challenge yourself. Where is the fun in never ever risking your char's life?
Loot... I don't think that's a bad thing. Making Mordor intimidating so that not everyone is even willing to be there makes it additional end-game content. It's not just another place to explore, it's a place where you are _in danger_ if you go.
Most of the time you get attacked in Mordor it's just one lone, prowling assassin. Just break and hop down the well and they won't follow you. I feel safer in Mordor, because I know that after I break the assassin won't keep chasing me 95% of the time.
Haha I think you just made my point Tireless. You 'elitist' in Mordor attacking new Mordor players is the reason why only a select few will go in there. As some of you may not believe, some of us do not like dying a or spend hours on end here to replensih gold on lost stat and skill points. Sure 5k to relevel is easy for some who run freebies or stay online for hours on end, But for the casual gamer who logs on for maybe 3-4 hours a week. It will more than likely turn them away before they try again.
People who are new to Mordor are the best to kill. If they don't know their way around, it keeps the area feeling dangerous and scary to them. A little bit of my ability to feel excited by the environment of the game died when I was able to gold in CU drunkhealing (before the BKD/Durm war, after BPs.) Being in Mordor is not scary to me. Having an assassin pounce out of the dark and whack you just for being there makes it scary.
If said Mordor newbie already knows his or her way around, they were clearly given aliases by a more experienced player -- killing them demonstrates that being given aliases does not make you elite.
Well, I killed him before he told me that.
So you killed him. That's pretty mean :P
Idk who he is, but he said it was the first time in Mordor by himself and that he was lost....
Are you all 'Fallen Angels that are unbounded' now?
I wonder what this situation was all about. He was hiding there for a good reason?
